Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy
First Trade LLC enforces a strict Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy across all sales channels on behalf of our authorized brand partners. This policy applies to all resellers, retailers, and distribution partners who carry products sourced through First Trade LLC.
What is MAP? The Minimum Advertised Price is the lowest price at which a product may be publicly advertised or listed for sale in any channel, including online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, eBay), retail websites, and in-store price displays. MAP restricts the advertised price only, not the final transaction price. Sellers may offer lower prices at checkout or through private negotiation, provided the displayed listing price meets or exceeds MAP at all times.
Who is subject to MAP? All authorized resellers and distribution partners of First Trade LLC are bound by the MAP policies of each respective brand. MAP price floors are established by the brand owner and communicated to partners at the time of purchase.
MAP violations will result in: immediate notification with a 48-hour correction window; suspension of purchase privileges pending review; and termination of authorized reseller status for repeated or unresolved violations. First Trade LLC monitors major e-commerce platforms for MAP compliance on an ongoing basis using automated tools and periodic manual audits.
Buy Box and Brand Registry protection. First Trade LLC maintains active enrollment in the Amazon Brand Registry for all authorized brand partners. This enables proactive identification and reporting of unauthorized sellers, counterfeit listings, and MAP violations directly to Amazon's enforcement teams, protecting both brand integrity and the Buy Box positions of legitimate resellers.
